CERTIFICATION

Certification of the "tradeable objects" is our prime focus. Therefore, CarbonCredEx.com has developed its own reporting and certification system. Fulfilment of the validation criteria to current (and/or future) requirements of compliance will be acknowledged by Registration of Compliance and the issuing of a certificate.

The Register will operate in a manner similar to the 'Torrens' System Title whereby a central registry of duplicate certificates match the original copy of the certificate that is held by the register. Proof of ownership of the tradeable objects is achieved by the matching of the original and the duplicate.

For bio-sequestration, Individual forests will be certified to ensure that claimed carbon credits are real and accurate in their claims.

A CarbonCredEx.com 'Certificate of Compliance' will be issued to the purchaser of the sequestered carbon ensuring the veracity of the claimed "credits". The 'Certificate of Compliance' will be validated by qualified professionals accredited to perform certification of sequestrated carbon. This will be the responsibility of the VENDOR.

The following data schedule will be the minimum requirement to register the Emission Reductions [both Voluntary and Certified] and ALL these details will be maintained in the CarbonCredEx database that will be accessible to the public for a fee for service.

For forests and forest product sequestration (including carbon credits), the certificate will be available to the grower, the emitter and a record kept on the carboncredex.com database for referencing purposes.

Where the claimed carbon credits are created from non ISO 14001 (and EU EMAS) compliant forests, a "partial certificate" may be issued inferring the level of compliance.
